Klub House News
Dear Lake Fenton Child Care,
Welcome back to another exciting year! We are excited to have you and get to get to know each and every child. This first week will be filled with learning new places, people, routines, rules and much more. We are sure many of the children will go home exhausted! We will be sending a short newsletter monthly updating you on what we have been doing, and what we plan on doing, along with any other reminders (via email).
We will have weekly themes that will start every Wednesday morning. This month’s themes are:
· Welcome Back
· Hispanic Heritage
· Native American Heritage
Every four weeks we ask for the next session’s schedule to be completed for your child. This ensures their spot in our program and also ensures their safety. For example the schedule allows us to know where your child belongs each day and whether or not we need to get them off the bus if they had forgotten to come to Kids’ Klub.
Remember we have snack every afternoon. Many children get hungry after school and appreciate something small to tie them over till they can get home. I also allow the children to eat breakfast/snacks in the morning when they come in. Breakfast in the cafeteria is always an option too, but it is not until 8:15 (this may be a little late for some of our “early birds”).
· Wednesday the September fourth School starts at 8:35.
· Wednesday September 11 will be our first flex day and school starts at 9:35.
We offer extended hours for additional fee up till 7:30 p.m. This is a prearranged service only. If this something you may need please ask us about it.
We always welcome and appreciate donations. Some suggestions maybe Kleenex, antibacterial wipes and/or spray, wet wipes, spoons, paper plates, lunch sacks, play dough, and just about anything else you can think of. We currently are also looking for cardboard egg cartons. If you are unsure, just ask!
We are excited to see everyone and we hope everyone enjoys their first month back!
If you have questions feel free to ask!

Lake Fenton Child Care
Welcome back to another exciting year! We are looking forward to the 2013-14 school year, and hope to see many new faces this year. Registration will begin August 27, 2013, and you can find enrollment packets to the right of this page. You can also get them from both our locations.
Program offered include:
PSK+ is a child development program designed to provide for the overall growth of each child. Learning and play centers will provide opportunities to make choices and learn independently. Language development and self-awareness are enhanced through music, role-playing, and storytelling. Children will participate in planned enrichment activities (games, guided play, and free play allow for large and small muscle growth). It is our intent to help each child develop his/her potential to the fullest in a pressure-free environment. But, don’t just take our word.
Our son, Cameron, loves coming to the PSK+ program that is offered at West Shore. The environment is nurturing and the room is set up for age appropriate development. Cameron is growing academically and socially every day and we enjoy hearing about his daily adventures. He is making new friends and the staff is doing a great job preparing him for the transition to Kindergarten. My wife and I believe that he will be very ready because of the experiences he receives during his time in PSK+.
