Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a healthy child care center environment in which quality care and programs are offered to enhance a child’s total growth and development.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Lake Fenton Community Schools has established the Lake Fenton Child Care Program for children, Pre K-6 grade living in the Lake Fenton School District. Lake Fenton Child Care is a non-profit self-supporting state licensed center and is coordinated and supervised by qualified personnel. The staff consists of responsible, competent, well-trained adults who demonstrate appropriate personal characteristics for successfully working with children.
Klub House News Summer 2013The staff has just started planning for the upcoming summer. “A Pot Luck” where every day is something NEW!
We just wanted to give you heads up in case you wanted to pay a little extra each week, so it is not as big bill. We are starting to plan trips and still work within the $200.00 trip fee.
We do have the date that we will be closed, so you can plan ahead for those most important family vacations.
The date we are closed is the following:
o June 9th to 16th
o June 30th to July 7th
o August 16th to the first day of school.
We will start registration when we return from spring break.

“Learning For Continuous Success” (Lake Fenton Community Schools)  Lake Fenton Child CareWelcome back to another exciting year! We have many new faces this year and are excited and getting to know each and every child. Kids Klub these past few weeks have been filled with learning about the fall and our favorite fall activities! The children enjoyed the apple paintings, outside time, and large group games. Did you know that October was National Popcorn month? Well the children at The Klub investigated the different flavorings that can be used to enhance an already delicious snack. They also got into the spooky spirit by making paper bag gargoyles. They are indeed a bit creepy but very cool!

Hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm
Flex Wednesday are going really well. Different centers are set up with crafts, painting, and games. Weather permitting we will take the children outside. Studies have shown the importance of free play for children. Not only are they getting physical activity they are learning social and cognitive skills as well.
If you are unsure what to do, think about Kids Klub @ West Shore or The Klub @ Torrey Hill. Both programs will be offering theme-based activities every Wednesday for a fee of $3.50* per session.
Drop off time starts at:
• 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.at West Shore
• 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Torrey Hill
Our child care programs will still open at 6:30 am until the start of the school day. “Flex Day” enrollment will be included at no additional cost. *Session fee is subject to change.
PSK+ is a child development program designed to provide for the overall growth of each child. Learning and play centers will provide opportunities to make choices and learn independently. Language development and self-awareness are enhanced through music, role-playing, and storytelling. Children will participate in planned enrichment activities (games, guided play, and free play allow for large and small muscle growth). It is our intent to help each child develop his/her potential to the fullest in a pressure-free environment. But, don’t just take our word.

Our son, Cameron, loves coming to the PSK+ program that is offered at West Shore. The environment is nurturing and the room is set up for age appropriate development. Cameron is growing academically and socially every day and we enjoy hearing about his daily adventures. He is making new friends and the staff is doing a great job preparing him for the transition to Kindergarten. My wife and I believe that he will be very ready because of the experiences he receives during his time in PSK+.
